I saw two different ideas on Pinterest, one was a calendar with the word blessed over it and the other was boards painted with clips applied for kids art work, here they are..

and here is what i came up with

I really needed a new calendar, so when I got a gift card to Hobby Lobby, I jumped at the chance to do this. Lets start at the top and work our way down.
The letters are just wooden letters, with scrap paper modge podged to it.
The calendar, is a picture frame 16x20. On the inside of the glass I did the grid with a permanent black marker. This I found to be the hardest part, and Scott helped me to measure it and figure out the measurements, to make it center, it helps to have a husband who teaches math. (it is very slightly off though, this i don't think was his fault though.
The wood was a piece I had. It sat on the top of my dresser but had been taken off and was hidden in my closet. For clips I used clothes pins, and also modgepodged scrap paper on them.
there you go. pretty easy.
of course though, as only can happen at my house, I am now missing the letter L. this is what happened when you don't attach them to the wall fast enough. (i do have another L, just need the scrap paper to finish it)
